The Indian Orchid Festival 2025, held in Pakyong, Sikkim, was a vibrant celebration of the country's rich orchid heritage. Hosted at the ICAR-National Research Centre for Orchids, the event brought together botanists, orchid growers, and enthusiasts from across India.
From March 1 to March 4, 2025, visitors witnessed an extraordinary display of rare and exotic orchids, many native to the Eastern Himalayas. The festival aimed to promote orchid conservation, sustainable cultivation, and highlight their commercial potential in Indiaโs growing horticulture industry.

The exhibition featured over 100 orchid varieties, including:
